Mrs. Jennifer Coxen
Mrs. Coxen is delighted to return to Medlock Bridge for her TENTH year! This is her fourth year in the TAG department alongside of Mrs. Foster, and the two are quite the TAG duo! Mrs. Coxen is a hardworking, energetic teacher that loves to challenge her students through the integration of higher order thinking skills, innovative technology implementation, creative projects, and meaningful learning opportunities. She loves to inspire her students to grow into empowered global citizens that care about people, the environment, and progress! It is important for Mrs. Coxen to facilitate an environment where students think and serve to impact the community.
Mrs. Coxen has a passion for teaching all over the world, and her educational consulting has led her to Kenya, Palestine and Moldova! She has a strong desire to see other teachers grow as well, and loves to participate in and lead professional development opportunities!
Mrs. Coxen graduated from the University of Florida with her Master's degree in 2007 and has been calling Atlanta her home since. She loves the Gators, running, traveling, volunteering, and serving at church. Mrs. Coxen was married in March of 2014, and she and her husband Stephen and their boykin spaniel reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
