Due to time spent in the media center and Runapalooza pep rally, we ran out of time! The kids can use the games (levels 1 and 2) for mapping skills practice in case they feel rusty from third grade. The skills are going to be very important http://www.phschool.com/curriculum_support/ss_skills_tutor/content/pop.html Cartographer’s Tools Analyzing and Interpreting Special Purpose Maps -levels 1 and 2 -practice and apply

We are really excited to partner with a local flight club to bring in pilots to the classroom. They shared this upcoming opportunity! Please make sure all students have the proper color folder and a composition book as well as the parent information form by Friday, 8/30!
Thanks! Today was an awesome day for our first graders. We received a special delivery about our next nine weeks from "the Smithsonian!" We loved welcoming TAG classes back this week! We spent time learning about our personal learning styles and modalities in the classroom and using Renzulli learning online. Students are encouraged to use Renzulli learning outside of the TAG classroom! Www.renzullilearning.com - each child must log on with his/her individual Li in ad password. Email ms. Serafin or mrs. Bates for your child's personal information. We also crafted unique representations using 2 1/2 dots as inspiration for a picture that demonstrated something from the current unit. Shown are ms. Serafin's fifth grade students and their awesome ideas! Tasks: Please have your folder and composition notebook by next week to begin our units! Ms. Serafin forgot to circle what supplies her fifth graders should bring in. Oops! Please send in: markers (thick or thin), poster board (white and colors), erasers, and/or clorox wipes. Thanks!!
